“Charlie’s Special Yoga sessions have been of huge benefit to our students – particularly those with the most complex needs. Her expertise in how to support students to improve essential things – such as the quality of their breathing – has been hugely appreciated, but it is also the impact that her sessions have had on improving students’ ability to self-regulate that has impressed us.
Charlie has a calm and gentle presence that puts students at ease. She is able to quickly tune-in to each student she works with and responds to their needs with great skill and sensitivity. Staff are often in awe at the positive impact that Charlie’s sessions have, and students asked for the sessions (which were initially planned to run for just one term) to continue as one of their Social and Community Options all year. “
